On Saturday, July 24, 1999 the Bluewater, Michigan Chapter of the NRHS sponsored an excursion trip from Reese to the Pigeon, Michigan Farmer's Festival with side trips to Bad Axe. The trips were run on RailAmerica's Huron and Eastern Railway, formerly Pere Marquette, C&O and then CSX Transportation and was handled by HSER GP38's number 203 and 204. This photo was taken on the return trip to Reese with 204 in the lead as the train passed by the grain elevator at Akron, Michigan.
