On February 25, 1998 CSX was busy constructing a second diamond and a second track on their right of way at Hamler where it crosses the Indiana & Ohio. Westbound CSX 8443 with CSX 8598 and CP 5528 with mixed freight approach an old B&O style signal still in use. On the right a new tri-light signal awaits further construction before going into service.
