In the fall of 1999 I submitted this photo to Trains Magazine as a news photo as the two locomotives were newly repainted former Conrail engines. The train was a Indiana & Ohio train with Norfolk Southern power about to cross the CSX at Hamler, Ohio. In another photo that was submitted to Trains Magazine by David Patch an NS empty coal train with a former Conrail locomotive still in blue was using a reinstated connection at Diann to go from the Ann Arbor RR onto the I&O. Trains published both photos on the same page with a caption explaining that one needs a program to keep track of all the players.
