Sunday, 8-25-02. The Santa Fe 3751 Canyon Limited Excursion was on the return trip after the NRHS convention in Williams Arizona. On this day it was going from Williams Arizona to Parker Arizona as this shot was taken from the Arizona Route 89 bridge. The SF 3751 with Amtrak 4 and 7 were headed south (westward) on the BNSF Phoenix Subdivision. This photo was used on the cover of the Volume 68, 2003 issue of the National Railway Bulletin, a National Railway Historical Society publication that is published six times per year |
