On August 16th and 17th 2003 the Tuscola and Saginaw Bay Railway, in cooperation with the Michigan State Trust for Railway Preservation, sponsored a two day excursion and used the MSTRPs Pere Marquette 1225, a restored 2-8-4, for power on the trip. The excursion went from Owosso to Cadillac on Saturday and returned on Sunday with side trips from Cadillac to Yuma and back on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. This shot was taken from the crossing at S2112 Road near Boon, Michigan on the Sunday side trip returning to Cadillac.
